The SOLIDWORKS Versions we are using in this Course and other Versions info:
In all the videos made for this course, we used SOLIDWORKS 2015 version.
However, in many lectures in the course, we provide you will supporting files. In those cases, we provide the files in SOLIDWORKS 2013. This way, if you have SOLIDWORKS 2013 or newer version, you would be able to open the supporting files we provide.
Supporting files could Parts, Assemblies or Drawings made in SOLIDWORKS.
Downloading SOLIDWORKS:
If you don’t have access to SOLIDWORKS, you can follow one of those options:
1. If you are a student at a University that deals with SOLIDWORKS, you can approach your University IT if they can help you get access to the software. Also, if you are working for a company that uses SOLIDWORKS, you can reach out to the company's IT department for help.
2. You can request an evaluation version through the following link: https://www.solidworks.com/how-to-buy/get-education-trial . Keep in mind that the evaluation version will expire after 60 days.
