<p>All front ends interact with several <span class = "ph">Tosca Structure</span> 
modules for the definition of the optimization task, running the optimization
process, result transfer, visualization, and post-processing. However, it is not
necessary to work with a graphical user interface for carrying out an optimization.

allows users to set up and perform topology, shape, or sizing optimization tasks

fully integrated into <span class = "ph">Abaqus/CAE</span>. 
Optimization results can be visualized in the visualization module of CAE. For

<span class = "ph">Tosca Structure.shape</span>,
<span class = "ph">Tosca Structure.bead</span> and 
<span class = "ph">Tosca Structure.sizing</span> 
form the actual optimization kernel of <span class = "ph">Tosca Structure</span>. 
<span class = "ph">Tosca Structure</span> 
controls the start of data preprocessing, the optimization, and the FE solver run
(see <a class = "xref" href = "tso-m-usr-control-general-test-sb.htm#tso-m-usr-control-general-test-sb" title = "SIMULIA Tosca Structure consists of many individual software modules that load the FE input and result data or modify the input files when required. The complete optimization process is controlled from one principal module named SIMULIA Tosca Structure Control. It controls the calling sequence of the individual software modules and the relevant solver.">SIMULIA Tosca Structure Control</a>).

Further, an integrated report generator transfers <span class = "ph">Tosca Structure</span>
optimization results to MS Office and html documents.

This validation run is performed automatically.
