<ol class = "ol">
<li class = "li"><code class = "ph codeph">TEST_BEAD</code> is carried out immediately after entering the command if the user entries are correct.</li>
<li class = "li">The automatic creation of the <code class = "ph codeph">vtfx</code> report requires the use of the default file name <code class = "ph codeph">TEST_BEAD</code>.</li>
<li class = "li">Test displacements are always carried out with reference to a defined optimization task (<code class = "ph codeph">OPTIMIZE</code>).</li>
<li class = "li"><code class = "ph codeph">DIRECTION</code>: There are three possibilities to define the direction of displacement: standard growth out of the component (<code class = "ph codeph">GROW</code>) for all design nodes in the optimization group, standard shrinkage into the component (<code class = "ph codeph">SHRINK</code>) for all design nodes in the optimization group or non-standard 'random' displacement of the design nodes in the optimization group (<code class = "ph codeph">RANDOM</code>). </li>
<li class = "li"><code class = "ph codeph">DISPLACEMENT</code>: Maximum amount of displacement for the test displacements. If no value is set a mesh-dependent amount of displacement is automatically determined.</li>
<li class = "li"><code class = "ph codeph">INCREMENT</code>: Number of increments in which the maximum absolute value of displacement of the test displacement is applied.</li>
<li class = "li">Procedure: In increments (<code class = "ph codeph">INCREMENT</code>) a maximum absolute displacement value (<code class = "ph codeph">DISPLACEMENT</code>) for a given direction (<code class = "ph codeph">DIRECTION</code>) is applied to the design variables which have been allocated to the optimization problem (<code class = "ph codeph">OPTIMIZE</code>, see operator <code class = "ph codeph">DV</code>). All restrictions of the design variables (<code class = "ph codeph">DVCON_BEAD</code> entries) that have been allocated to the optimization problem (<code class = "ph codeph">OPTIMIZE</code>, see operator <code class = "ph codeph">DVCON</code>) are executed. For each increment a result file (<code class = "ph codeph">FILE_NAME</code>) in the given format (<code class = "ph codeph">FORMAT</code>) is produced.</li>
