<li class = "li">In topology optimization, the <code class = "ph codeph">PSHELL</code> cards assigned
to the design elements are duplicated and modified. If the original
<code class = "ph codeph">PSHELL</code> card contains the property definitions <code class = "ph codeph">MAT2,
MAT3</code>, and <code class = "ph codeph">MAT4</code> in addition to the essential
number <code class = "ph codeph">MAT1</code>, these will be ignored if they are different
from <code class = "ph codeph">MAT1</code>. All materials will be allocated the same
number as the required <code class = "ph codeph">MAT1</code> in a duplicated <code class = "ph codeph">PSHELL</code>
card.</li>
<li class = "li"><code class = "ph codeph">PCOMP</code> might only be used with one material for topology
optimization - the directions of this single material might of course vary.</li>
