The design response command <code class = "ph codeph">DRESP</code> defines the system response for the current analysis model.

<p>The <code class = "ph codeph">DRESP</code> command extracts one scalar value from a given result field. Permitted dimensions can be 
<span class = "ph">load case</span> independent or 
  <span class = "ph">load case</span> dependent 
  (parameter <code class = "ph codeph">DEF_TYPE = SYSTEM</code>) as well as certain combinations of values (parameter <code class = "ph codeph">DEF_TYPE = OPER</code>).</p>
