<p>In this crane hook example, the maximum stresses for both 
<span class = "ph">load cases</span> are in an area that cannot
be modified, for example, by a shape optimization. On the other hand, the outer side of the
crane hook can be modified to reduce the stresses on the inner side:</p>

<p><span class = "ph">Tosca Structure.morph</span> 
is used to examine model variants where areas
on the outer side of the crane hook are modified. These morphing
areas Morphing_1, ... Morphing_7 as well as the critical area (=
with high stresses) are defined as groups as shown in the following figure in
your preprocessor:</p>

<p>The morphing areas will then be modified, based on the user-defined design of experiment. In this
experiment plan a constant displacement (positive, negative or zero) for each morphing area
is defined. The modified model will be analyzed by your FE solver.</p>
